Judicial Custody for C.N. Chinnayya
A court in Mangaluru has ordered C.N. Chinnayya to be held in judicial custody for 14 days in connection with allegations of murder, rape, and the burial of bodies in Dharmasthala. This decision came after the completion of police interrogation.
Chinnayya was presented before the Belthangady magistrate, who subsequently remanded him to judicial custody. According to sources from the Special Investigation Team (SIT), Chinnayya may be transported to Shivamogga for further questioning. He was arrested on August 23 as part of the investigation into the Dharmasthala case.
